ANAN LOST A MEMBER IN ITS GOVERNING COUNCIL The Association of National Accountants of Nigeria has lost a member in its Governing Council, Mr. Patrick Iwelomen, FCNA. Mr. Patrick Iwelomen passed away on September 13, 2009 in Benin, Edo State, Nigeria at the age of 59. He became a member of the Association in 1994 and joined the Council in 2001. He served in several Committees of the Council, until his death he was the chairman Public and Private Sector Committee of the Association. You may wish to drop a Condolence Message here. |

ANAN First Female President |

The Association of National Accountants of Nigeria (ANAN), in its 27th Annual General Meeting and Handover Ceremony, on the 30th April, 2009, investitured its First Female President.
The new and First Female President of the Association, Chief (Mrs.) Francess Iyamide Gafar, is the 7th President of the Association. Amidst pomp and pageantry, the celebration held in the Nigerian College of Accountancy (Training arm of the Association), permanent site in Kwall, Bassa LGA, Plateua State, had a large turnout of members of the Association. ANAN Registrar/CEO The Association of National Accountants of Nigeria (ANAN) has appointed Mr Terkaa Gemade as its new Registrar. Gemade, who succeeded Sir (Dr.) Peter Ibekwe, resumed duty in May, 2009. Prior to his appointment, the new Registrar/CEO was a Council member of ANAN. |
